Please find listed below an outline of the various different safari styles that are possible when travelling with World Primate Safaris. The majority of our safaris are tailor-made and therefore we can tailor your safari of choice to meet your specific budget, preferred dates of travel and exact requirements.

Family Wildlife Holidays - a number of families are wary of travelling on safari, especially with young children. At World Primate Safaris however, we know a number of lodges in most locations that cater for young families in order to maximise your enjoyment for both the parents and adults. Different lodges cater for different ages and it is essential that this is taken into consideration when booking your safari. Our family safaris to Borneo or Madagascar family safaris have been created with the specific needs of children in mind.

Best family safari destinations include Madagascar and Borneo. Both offer family rooms at certain lodges (bringing the cost down) and are at the same time, both fun and educational. Borneo and Madagascar also provide for a combination of wildlife safaris and beach relaxation; snorkelling and diving are excellent resulting in kids hvaing things to do whilst parents can relax on the beach...or the other way round!

At World Primate Safaris, we recommend that a variety of games or books are taken along for your holiday as there are often periods during the day for siesta and this will help keep the children occupied.

Honeymoon Safaris - Honeymoon Safaris are one of the areas that we love to work on. This is the most important trip that you will ever have to organise and therefore it is essential that you work with the correct people in tailoring the ultimate honeymoon safari. We have a vast experience in this area and always try to add that little extra something to make your honeymoon even more special. In our experience, an ideal honeymoon should have a split between an adrenalin pumping safari and then some time to sit back and relax on the perfect tropical island or beach. A number of the destinations that we specialise in offer this combination so please do not hesitate to get in touch for your own tailor-made honeymoon safari and we would be happy to help. Tailor-Made Safaris - World Primate Safaris specialises in tailor-made safaris. Our expertise lies in tailoring a safari itinerary to fit the specific requirements of our clients whether it be preferred dates of travel, number of days for travel, budget, or reasons for travelling, we offer you the best solution every time.

Tailor-made safaris are often more expensive than small group safaris as they involve private safari vehicles and specialist guides meaning that these costs are only split by the clients travelling rather than a small group (as with set departures). This cost however is justified as you have much more flexibility in regards to how long you wish to spend in each region, concentrating on your specific areas of interest and learning as much as possible from your own personal guide who will travel with you throughout making for a much more educational experience. Tailor made safaris range in cost from GBP£2,000 per person excluding international flights in Borneo to GBP£3,000 per person upwards in Tanzania.

Small Group Safaris - Small Group Safaris are ideal for the principal reasons that it keeps the cost to a minimum and if you are a single traveller it gives you the opportunity to join up with a like-minded group of people. At World Primate Safaris we try to keep our small group safaris to a maximum number of 8 people although bear in mind that this changes from destination to destination. Small group safaris also depart on set departure dates and run to a fixed itinerary and you are not able to amend them.

World Primate Safaris runs some excellent monthly small group safaris to Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania and then one or two set departures each year to Madagascar, Borneo and the Republic of Congo. Please ask us for further details and we would be happy to send them through.

Specialist Safaris - each year we run a selection of specialist led safaris. These safaris are principally photography based with our best seller being our Rwanda Gorilla Safaris with Andy Rouse. Each year we organise different specialist safaris which ar released in our monthly newsletters. These safaris do book up quickly so it is best to book sooner rather than later in order to avoid disappointment.
