Mweya Safari Lodge is located on a peninsular in the heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park; this lodge offers spectacular views over the Kazinga Channel with great bird watching and a variety of savannah game drives possible. Perfect pool positioning means that you can look down onto the plains whilst enjoying a cooling swim. All rooms have en-suite facilities.

Accommodation & facilities: Standard single, double and twin rooms are comfortable with a simple safari atmosphere. Deluxe rooms also have air-conditioning.  Suites also have a living room and mini bar.

In addition, there are four types of luxury accommodation: Queen's Cottage, Presidential Cottage, Rwenzori Cottage & Royal Cottage

Each room at Mweya Safari Lodge has a breathtaking view of the Kazinga channel. You can watch the forest hogs grazing the grass outside, as well as the odd curious hippos. The health club offers massage for those who wish to relax and unwind after an exciting day in the game park.

Dining: The cuisine is of a good quality with a range of exquisite Continental, Indian and International cuisine. 

Activities: The Lodge offers a range of activities and attractions: take a game drive and discover a vast array of wild game; experience a launch trip on the Kazinga Channel using one of our luxury boats; or watch some of the 612 different species of birds available to be seen. Nearby, chimpanzees can be found in the breathtaking Kyambura gorge which is a formation of the natural rift in the earth. Here the ancient movement of tectonic plates has created a natural forest habitat for hippos, monkeys, chimpanzees, elephants and buffalos. Mweya Lodge boasts some of the best bird watching in Africa.
