Uganda - Accommodation

Accommodation in Uganda varies dependant on budget; a range of Western-style luxury lodges and eco-lodges are available for the luxury safari traveller. In both Uganda and Rwanda we can also offer mobile tented camping safaris and a variety of private tailor-made or small group safaris.

Mihingo Lodge

Mihingo Lodge is a beautiful new lodge located in Lake Mburo National Park. Set upon the hillside overlooking the savannah plains, this property affords stunning views and is a welcome break on the long drive back to Kampala.

Ishasha Wilderness Camp

Ishasha Camp is a stunning camp located in the southern section of Queen Elizabeth National Park providing access to a variety of wildlife including the tree climbing lions! A fantastic place to stop on the way to track the gorillas in Bwindi.

Buhoma Homestead

Buhoma Homestead is a beautiful new lodge constructed from local materials and located minutes from the Bwindi park headquarters providing easy access for your gorilla tracking.

Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge

Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge is a comfortable eco-lodge with 8 bandas and stunning views overlooking the primeval forest. Gorillas, chimpanzees and birds can often be heard screeching near the river below whilst you sit back and relax on the open veranda after a hard days gorilla tracking through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Gorilla Forest Camp

Gorillas Forest Camp is a permanent luxury tented camp located just inside the park boundaries. Accommodation is in 8 luxury tented platform tents with ensuite facilities including a bath! An easy base from where to start your gorilla tracking.

Volcanoes Mt Gahinga Lodge

Volcanoes Mt Gahinga Lodge, nestling in the foothills of the Virunga Volcanoes provides the perfect base from which to track gorillas in Mgahinga, Nkuringo (southern Bwindi) and in the future, Djomba in DRC. Accommodation is in nine thatched bandas and also offers the opportunity to track the golden monkeys or climb one of the dramatic Virunga peaks.

Ndali Lodge

Ndali Lodge is a fantastic traditional colonial lodge set in the stunning crater region of Western Uganda. Built of local stone and thatch, the 8 luxury bandas offer views over the dramatic Rwenzori Mountains; each banda is ensuite with a private veranda. The dining room and lounge offer relaxing views over the crater lake below. A great base from where to track the chimpanzees of Kibale Forest.

Mantana Tented Camp

Mantana Tented Camp is a comfortable camp set in a secluded forested area which attracts a host of wildlife including a variety of primates. Seven fully furnished ensuite tents with verandas provide comfortable sleeping quarters and a good base from where to track the chimpanzees of Kibale Forest.

Mweya Safari Lodge

Mweya Safari Lodge, located on a peninsular in the heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park, offers spectacular views over the Kazinga Channel with great bird watching and a variety of savannah game drives possible. Perfect pool positioning means that you can look down onto the plains whilst enjoying a cooling swim. All rooms have ensuite facilities.

Jacana Safari Lodge

Jacana Safari Lodge is constructed of natural materials and perched on the rim of a crater lake; this lodge blends into the surrounding forest. 7 luxury log chalets and a gorgeous pool offer the traveller every opportunity to relax after a day out on the plains. Located slightly further from the game circuits but still provides good access for wildlife safaris.
