Some of these safaris may also be combined with safaris to both Tanzania (to see the Big Five and the migration) and/or Uganda to see the savannah game of Queen Elizabeth National Park and the chimpanzees and gorillas of Kibale and Bwindi or even the wildlife of the Masai Mara in Kenya. These are by no means all of the itineraries that we offer however they will give you a taster of what is available...We offer small group safaris and luxury tailored safaris for both the adventure traveller and the luxury traveller. Gorilla Safaris in Rwanda are the true wildlife highlight of visiting this landlocked East African destination. Tracking the mountain gorillas in the stunning Parc National des Volcans with a backdrop of 6 volcanic peaks is a breathtaking experience. Rwanda Safaris can be done over a period of 3-4 days and fit perfectly as an extension to other East African safari destinations such as Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya. Other than gorilla safaris, Rwanda has a variety of cultural highlights, beautiful people and soon, there will be some great chimpanzee safaris in Nyungwe Forest.

Rwanda Tailor-Made Gorilla Safaris and Holidays - Gorilla Safaris in Rwanda are usually done on a tailor-made basis as the gorilla park of Parc National des Volcans is only a few hours drive from the capital of Kigali. World Primate Safaris offers a selection of tailor-made Rwanda safaris that can also be combined with Tanzania Safaris, Kenya Safari Holidays or Uganda Gorilla Safaris.

Rwanda Small Group Safaris - these are not as regular as in other African safari destinations as there is not as much on offer at this moment in time. World Primate Safaris does however offer short 4 day small group safaris to track the gorillas of Parc National des Volcans.

Rwanda Fly-In Safaris - on special request, World Primate Safaris can organise helicopter transfers to the gorilla park of Parc National des Volcans. This would be on a tailor-made safari basis and is not the cheapest means of getting to the park!
