A lot to see but hard work to travel round with bumpy roads and "authentic" lodges. Despite this, very well organised by the guys at World Primate Safaris.

Simple accommodation providing access to the Gunung Leuser National Park. A range of local guest houses situated along the river banks. Mega's Inn provides great local atmosphere and conversation whereas the bar with the best views is located a 5min walk further up the river.
