None of the species of lemur on this magical island are in existence in the wild anywhere else in the world and yet here they are in abundance from one of the smallest primates in the world - the nocturnal mouse lemur - to the dancing sifaka both found in Berenty Reserve, to the largest lemur in existence, the Indri, found in Perinet/Andasibe. Combining the unique fauna and flora of this island with days of relaxation and world class diving on some of the best beaches and islands in the world is hard to beat and provides and ideal Madagascar holiday.
What to expect on your holiday: travel in Madagascar is often not easy; roads are rough, transport infrastructure is minimal and distances are long, however, this is more than compensated for by the friendliness of the Malagasy people, the wide choice of comfortable accommodation and the diversity of the culture, geography, climate wildlife and people of the 8th continent.
