Fringed with pristine beaches and surrounded by the tropical Indian Ocean...35 hectares of tropical private island all to yourself...apart from the staff and other guests of course!
Accommodation & Facilities: Quilalea Lodge consists of 9 luxury villas, sleeping up to 18 guests, constructed of indigenous materials with panoramic sea views from your private veranda. Natural rock walls, large windows affording spectacular sea views and antique stylised showers make this a real treat! Each room has an extremely comfortable king sized bed draped in mosquito netting and the furniture is made from indigenous teak and mahogany by local carpenters.
The charming restaurant and lounge areas are just a few minutes from any one of the villas with beautiful ocean views.
Dining: The dining area is located at the end of the peninsular maximising the views out to sea whilst you enjoy your meals prepared by a gourmet chef. You can also enjoy your meals on the beach!
Activities: Spend your days at Quilalea Lodge simply soaking up the sunshine and enjoying your villa and the views or alternatively make the most of the following activities on offer: diving (PADI centre on the island), snorkelling, fly fishing, deep sea fishing, relaxing by the pool, canoeing, historical tours, dhow sailing and bird watching...
