Day 1
Today you arrive in San Jose, where you will be met by one of our local representatives and transferred to your hotel for your overnight stay.Inquisitive Iguana, Costa Rica
Overnight: Grano de Oro (Deluxe Room) – Located in downtown San Jose, this boutique hotel is well located for the nearby attractions in the city.

Day 2
This morning you will be met and driven to Tortuguero National park, located in the north-east of the country on the Caribbean coast. Tortuguero national park features a number of canals, which contain a variety of wildlife, such as Manatees, Crocodiles, Caiman and Tropical Gar.  The park is also renowned for the Turtles which nest on the beaches, while the surrounding forest is home to a number of primate species.
Overnight: Mawamba Lodge - Surrounded by beautiful gardens and situated on a sand bar between the Tortuguero canals and the Caribbean Sea, Mawamba lodge has 54 Standard rooms and four Superior rooms, specially designed for Honeymoons. Rooms are simple but comfortable and include a ceiling fan (B/D)

Day 3
Today you will explore Tortuguero National Park.  This area is home to a whole variety of wildlife species and the excursions which you can arrange when you are at the lodge and are included in the cost, will help you to enjoy and experience the area.

Day 4
This morning you will be transferred to the Airstrip for your flight back to San Jose.  Upon arrival in San Jose, you will be driven to your hotel in San Gerardo de Dota, 90km south of San José, a journey time of approximately two hours.  The rest of your day will be yours to spend at leisure.
Overnight: Trogon Lodge – Located close to Cerro de la Muerte, which is one of the highest peaks in Costa Rica.  Trogon Lodge is surrounded by private cloud forest.  The rooms are fabricated out of wood and feature heating for colder nights.  The lodge also features its own farm and a Trout nursery, where the Trout are moved in to a pond once they reach a minimum size.  The lodge has a rule for people who wish to go trout fishing: “If you can catch it, then you can eat it”! (B)

Day 5
San Gerardo de Dota is a good area for Bird watchers and nature lovers.  It is located at an altitude of approximately 2,100 meters above sea level. The lodge has many activities for its residents to enjoy, such as Bird watching and Horse riding.  The lodge also arranges its own canopy tour.

Day 6
After breakfast, you will be met at your hotel and driven to Manuel Antonio on the Pacific coast.  On arrival check-in to your hotel.  The rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure.Wild Tortuguero Beach, Costa Rica
Overnight: Arenas del Mar is a stunning, luxurious and sustainable resort located right on the beach in Manuel Antonio. Comfortable rooms, two pools with ocean views, access to two beaches, upscale dining in two hotel restaurants with a focus on fresh local products and personalized service (B)

Days 7 & 8
You have two days to enjoy Manuel Antonio National Park.  This is the only national park in Costa Rica where it is possible to see all four endemic species of primate and you will be able to arrange a visit to the national park locally.  The national park also has some pristine beaches, where you may choose to spend your time relaxing.

Day 9
You will be met and transferred back to San José, a journey of approximately 3.5 hours.  The rest of your day in San José, is yours to spend at leisure
Overnight: Grano de Oro (B)

Day 10
After a leisurely morning, you will be met at your hotel and transferred to the Airport for your onward flight (B)
