Explore the pacific coast of Costa Rica with visits to the coastal areas of Manuel Antonio and Guanacaste, as well as the Cloud forests and Volcanoes of the central region.

Day 1
Today you arrive in San Jose, where you will be met by one of our local representatives and transferred to your hotel for your overnight stay.Manuel Antonio National Park
Overnight: Double Tree Cariari by Hilton – Conveniently located for the Airport, this well appointed hotel is clean and comfortable with well-appointed rooms.

Day 2
After breakfast, you will be met at your hotel and driven to Manuel Antonio National Park on the Pacific coast where you can check into your hotel before having the rest of the day at your leisure.
Overnight: Arenas del Mar - A stunning, luxurious and sustainable resort located right on the beach in Manuel Antonio. Comfortable rooms, two pools with ocean views, access to two beaches, upscale dining in two hotel restaurants with a focus on fresh local products and personalized service (B)

Day 3
Today you will have the opportunity to visit Manuel Antonio National Park, the only national park in Costa Rica where it is possible to see all four endemic species of primate! The national park also has some pristine beaches, where you may choose to spend your time relaxing. This trip is arranged and paid for locally.

Day 4
You will be met at your hotel after breakfast and driven to Arenal, a journey of approximately 4 hours, where you will be met and taken to your hotel.
Overnight: Mountain Paradise Hotel - Located just 7km from the town of La Fortuna, the hotel is appointed with modern fittings, such as flat screen TV’s Air conditioning and wireless internet. The rooms offer views toward Arenal Volcano (B)

Day 5
It is worth waking early today, as dawn offers one of the best times to witness the, still active, Arenal Volcano. When the volcano is erupting, you will watch on as tracks of molten lava flow down it’s side, sun rising in the background. You will then be taken on an excursion to view the Volcano from close quarters, followed by a trip to some Hot springs.

Day 6
This morning you will be met and taken to Monteverde Cloud Forest, to the north of Arenal.  Part of the journey involves a boat crossing on Lake Arena, which will allow for some spectacular views of the Volcano and the surrounding area.  You will be taken to your hotel and the rest of the day can be spent at your own leisure.Colourful Butterfly
Overnight: El Establo – Located in an area between Santa Elena and Monteverde Cloud Forests, allowing good views of the surrounding forests. The hotel itself offers comfortable rooms which are well appointed and each featuring a terrace or a balcony (B)

Day 7
Take the opportunity to explore some of Monteverde’s cloud forest. With your guide, you will be taken to the Garden of Hummingbirds, where a variety of tiny hummingbirds can be seen. Cloud forests are home to an interesting array of flora and fauna.

Day 8
Today you will be taken on a tour of a Coffee plantation. Costa Rica is famed for its Coffee and Monteverde’s volcanic soils are rich in nutrients, making it an ideal place for cultivation. On the tour, you will see the entire coffee making process; from the bean on the bush, to drying, roasting and finally tasting!

Day 9
After breakfast you will be met and transferred to Punta Islita, located on the Pacific coast, in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica. The rest of the day is yours to spend at your own leisure.
Overnight: Punta Islita – Standard Deluxe Room - Perched on a rugged mountain outpost and overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Punta Islita is a very well appointed, deluxe hotel with a range of leisure facilities, including a spa, two Restaurants, two Swimming Pools, Tennis courts and a 9-hole Golf course (B)

Day 10, 11, 12
The next few days can be enjoyed at your own leisure. The hotel has ample facilities and is located close to the Beach. The range of excursion on offer, cover cultural activities, such as tours of the local towns or Costa Rican cookery, to eco-tours, to see the local wildlife, or a variety of sports and adventure activities.
