This boutique style resort is built into a hillside overlooking the Kinabatangan River, the largest river in Sabah. The spacious accommodation, in little chalets built up the hill, is complimented by some fantastic service and ensures your privacy without blowing your budget.

The area is stunning, surrounded by Borneo rainforest, with a relaxing back to nature feel and there is always a warm welcome waiting for you. Search for Orang-utans, Proboscis Monkeys and Borneo Pigmy Elephants on jungle walks and river cruises!

Setting: Bilit Myne Resort is in Kampung, Kota Kinabatangan – approximately 122km from Sandakan Tours. Access is via a dirt road, making this lodge a real hidden gem!

Accommodation & Facilities: There are 12 detached chalets and 2 semi detached chalets, all wooden and set into the hillside. Rooms are all spacious with wood panelling, comfortable beds and good quality linen. All of the rooms are air conditioned with a ceiling fan, T.V. and a balcony looking out over the river. En-suite bathrooms have hot showers, ideal at the end of a day in the great outdoors!

There is a lounge/grill, bar and a large dining area with an expansive deck where you can look out onto the river under the shade of beach umbrellas. There are is also a pool table and table tennis table.

Dining: The food is great and sourced locally; special diets can be easily catered for if notified in advance.

Activities: Explore your surroundings with a jungle walk or cruise the river night or day. Keep your eyes peeled for such primates as Long Tail Macaques, Pig Tail Macaques, noisy Proboscis Monkeys or even Orang-utans and Borneo Gibbons if you’re lucky! There are also Pygmy elephants and wild boar to watch out for. At night you may see a crocodile or even Malay Civet.
