Kapalai Island is a stunning stilted dive resort approximately 30 minutes boat ride from the mainland. Luxury ensuite rooms and excellent diving. This is the preferred location from where to dive the famous Sipadan reefs! A great lodge to relax at at the end of your Borneo holiday! Please note that this is predominantly a dive resort with some great reefs.

Style: Stilted wooden chalets built entirely over the sea from a sandbar.
Setting: A 15 minute boat ride from Sipadan, surrounded by crystal waters and a stunning variety of marine life.
Accommodation & Facilities: The spacious chalets are all centred around the main restaurant and dive centre and are built entirely over the sea. There is no need for air conditioning, just open the large windows and let the breeze in naturally. Rooms are either triples or doubles, each en-suite with their own carefully thought out private balcony.
The chalets are all linked to each other and the rest of the resort through lengths of wooden walkways where you can look down into the ocean and watch the fish swimming beneath you. The main area has a large sundeck where guests can gather and share the days dive stories and pictures whilst watching the tropical sunset.
There is also internet access, a souvenir shop and a games room.
Dining: Food is sumptuous and served buffet style on an open terrace,
Activities: The dive centre provides diving, snorkelling and kayaking gear as well as a variety of PADI courses for beginners or those wanting to improve. Kapalai Island has a fantastic variety of dive sights with a range of habitats attracting lots of different marine life!
