Accommodation & Facilities: All casitas are free standing with stunning views over the volcano, private Jacuzzi’s, a terrace and a romantic outdoor shower. They are available starting at a Deluxe Room or Suites, both with incredible views and private gardens, with polished wooden floors and bright clean décor and Premium Suites come with an adjoined living space. The Nayara Suite is just incredible, at a huge 1,135.59 square feet, a unique space in an octagonal design, filled with natural light. With its own private balcony with a Jacuzzi looking over the magnificent volcano, it is a great ‘one of a kind’ place to stay, great for honeymooners. The bathroom is beautiful and modern, with dual rain head showers, twin vanities and top of the line amenities. This suite also has a private garden with hand crafted furniture for you sit outdoors and absorb your spectacular surroundings. The self contained, Nayara Villa, is made from a Premium Suite and a Casita Suite connected via a courtyard, making a great space for families or small groups.
The wine bar, named Nostalgia, is a wonderful place to while away the evenings over a glass of Latin American or Spanish vintage. Take a seat on one of the comfy leather sofas or out on the open air terrace after dinner to make the most of the relaxed atmosphere. By the pool there are 2 bars, one wet and one dry – great for afternoon cocktails and the pool itself has 3 independent Jacuzzis!
Nayara Hotel & Gardens also features a Spa which uses local ingredients to restore your mental and physical health, with everything from volcanic mud to coffee scrubs. Submerged in nature, this is a great spot to get away from it all and improve your sense of well being.
Dining: The restaurant, Altamira, has spectacular views over the volcano and provides a spectacular dining experience. Meals are served as traditional gourmet Costa Rican dishes, or international cuisine – open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Take a tour of the Arenal Volcano, ride the Sky Tram to the highest point in the Arenal reserve for a trek, hike to the stunning waters of Rio Celeste or cross the breath taking Arenal Hanging Bridges. There is some amazing white water rafting close by, or guests may ride horseback through the 560 hectare farm. For wildlife lovers, there is a trip to the Cano Negro Wildlife Reserve, a great place to go bird watching and search for some great wildlife such as sloths, lizards, monkeys and caimans!
