Accommodation in the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville) and the Central African Republic is of a basic standard throughout however offers access to some amazing wildlife viewing including the only habituated western lowland gorillas. Western style hotels such as the Hotel Olympique provide 3 or 4 star accommodation in Brazzaville whereas out on safari Doli Lodge and Mbeli Bai Camp provide the best accommodation available for viewing wildlife. Lodging often consists of fairly basic washing facilities with communal dining and lounging areas.
