World Primate Safaris was set up on the back of Will's experience as a guide on the African continent. Having worked for a number of years in the travel industry Will noticed that there was a niche market for primate safaris that had not been filled. Now as the only specialist primate safari company in the world, World Primate Safaris offers safaris to see a combination of wildlife in each destination including the mountain gorillas of Uganda and Rwanda, the western lowland gorillas of Gabon, the Republic of Congo and the Central African Republic, the lemurs and bizarre wildlife of Madagascar, the chimpanzees of Uganda and Tanzania and the wild orangutans of Borneo and Sumatra.

Combining the wildlife and culture of each destination we offer (wherever possible) safaris for the adventure to luxury traveller staying in a variety of accommodation and maximising your chances for viewing wildlife. Safaris can be tailored to meet clients specific requirements whenever and wherever possible.

As the primates that we track are predominantly endangered species, World Primate Safaris donates a percentage of each safari sold to the conservation of primates throughout the world. Whenever possible we try to support grass-root projects where we know the money that we contribute will go directly towards the conservation of primates.
